The Lake MX238 Gravel Shoe offers gravel and mixed-terrain riders the comfort and performance of a road shoe with the walkability of a mountain bike shoe without the addition of excessive weight or bulk. MX Competition Last – Featuring a larger toe box & tighter heel than the Comfort last, and slightly more overall volume than the Sport last. Exceptionally secure for hard riding/racing with enough room in the toe box to prevent binding when running up inclines or negotiating a hike-a-bike section. Designed for performance riding & racing. Outsole: Lake Competition 100% Carbon Fiber Sole with Mountain Race X real rubber sole. Upper: Clarino Microfiber (Beetle/Black and White/Black) or Ecco Fullgrain Suede Leather (Black/Gold), Mesh and Helcor abrasion, and water-resistant leather panels with a hook lycra heel lining. Closure: Dual Side mounted Push/Pull BOA IP1-S lacing system with releasable lace guides.

Available in a 3-hole cleat pattern, the CX333 utilizes Lake’s patent double sole system. The inner sole is a semi-flexible fiberglass platform, that allows the foot to have ample flexibility at the ball of the foot where the swelling can be prominent, and typically hot spots or numbness would occur. The inner sole is then suspended over the outer rigid carbon sole. This unique system enables the use of an extremely stiff carbon outsole, without sacrificing riding comfort, giving you the ultimate balance of performance and endurance. Upper - The CX333 comes with a Clarino Microfiber upper with Outlast temperature regulating lining. A Carbitex arch support panel and a heat moldable internal Thermaform Carbon Fiber heel counter provide you with the most secure fit possible. Closure - BOA® Fit System Li2 dials. The Li2 dial is the most advanced platform in cycling, offering a precise, micro-adjustable fit in both directions and designed to resist abrasion.
